Job Summary

Lead talent development and culture initiatives by collaborating with Organizational Effectiveness and HR teams to support performance management, employee development, and talent reviews. Drive engagement and culture through surveys and action plans, advance equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and ensure onboarding materials and processes are updated for new sites. Manage training resources, coordinate vendors and coaches, and maintain accurate talent development records while reporting insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Support Hudbay’s performance management cycle by ensuring consistent application of the process and clarity for stakeholders.
•Coordinate employee development opportunities including external training, coaching, and 360-degree feedback; support design and implementation of training programs.
•Partner with stakeholders to coordinate talent reviews and succession planning, including maintaining thorough records and updating succession planning templates.
•Develop, implement, and promote employee engagement surveys and action plans, including setup, communications, and analysis.
•Advance equity, diversity, and inclusion goals by planning and executing EDI initiatives and managing EDI projects as assigned.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 115,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
•5 years of demonstrated expertise implementing talent development strategies and processes.
•Certification in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion is a valuable asset.
•Proven ability to address equity, diversity and inclusion issues for underrepresented groups through EDI initiatives.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing reports and presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
