Job Summary

AECOM is hiring multiple levels of Traffic Engineers and Designers to join our Southeast transportation team. You’ll work on large highway design projects, using Bentley MicroStation/OpenRoads for signing, pavement markings, and traffic signal design in a hybrid setting, contributing to alternative delivery projects across the southern US.

Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in the design and drafting of transportation projects across the southern US, including signing and pavement markings and traffic signals
•Collaborate with senior engineers on large Design/Build or Alternative Delivery highway projects
•Utilize Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads for design work and CAD drafting
•Support signing/pavement marking design and traffic signal design tasks
•Contribute to project delivery through coordination with DOTs and other stakeholders on design documentation and revisions

Key Requirements

•BS Degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience for CAD Designers
•BS in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience for Junior Level Engineers
•BS in Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience for Mid-Level Engineers
•BS in Engineering + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience for Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads
•EIT Certification or PE License (Preferred)
•State DOT experience (Preferred)
•Knowledge and prior use of the AASHTO Green Book and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MU-TCD) (Preferred)
