Job Summary

Join the UK GCC Civil team to deliver road pavement design projects. You’ll plan and manage project delivery, ensuring design adequacy, compliance with standards and legislation, and alignment on time, cost, and quality. Work on pavement design and evaluation using AASHTO/DMRB methods, including heavy duty pavements for port and airfield contexts, and contribute to pavement investigation for maintenance design and failure investigation.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and manage the delivery of road pavement design projects.
•Ensure design adequacy and compliance with standards and legislation.
•Manage resource time, cost, and quality for assigned projects.
•Support the Civil team working alongside the UK discipline.
•Lead teams and contribute to people management as needed.

Key Requirements

•7 years of professional experience in pavement design and pavement evaluation techniques.
•At least 3 years of professional experience in pavement design using AASHTO/DMRB methods.
•Ability to design and lead road pavement design projects.
•Working knowledge of heavy duty pavements (port and airfield) and concrete and flexible pavement design.
•Knowledge of UK/international pavement engineering plus experience with pavement investigation for maintenance design and failure investigation.
