Job Summary

Lead delivery of Avaloq initiatives end-to-end, overseeing the Avaloq development lifecycle from design through testing and deployment. Manage and mature global engineering teams, support automation efforts, and ensure robust engineering risk, control, and governance practices for Private Banking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead Avaloq deliveries for a stream and oversee the end-to-end Avaloq development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
•Ensure code quality, documentation, and compliance with development standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.
•Coordinate end-to-end project delivery, minor enhancements, and RTB backlog using Agile and DevOps methodologies.
•Provide leadership to global engineering teams and build required capability with direct reporting to the Head of Engineering Banking Platform.
•Support automation strategy (via Test manager) and drive engineering governance by identifying risks/threats, ensuring key controls, and running mandatory trainings.

Key Requirements

•Lead Avaloq engineering deliveries with deep knowledge of Avaloq, Agile, DevOps, and team management.
•Own end-to-end Avaloq development lifecycle (design, development, testing, deployment), ensuring code quality, documentation, and compliance.
•Understand Private Banking domains and product areas such as Investment Market/Capital Markets, Avaloq Stex, corporate actions, payments, settlements, credit, finance, and client management.
•Be technically hands-on with Avaloq platform implementation, interfaces, EOD, and deployment automation; contribute to architecture and system design for satellite interfaces.
•Manage the local team (recruitment, retention, training, talent/career management, local administration) and act as the single point of contact for escalations and incident resolution.
