Job Summary

Originate residential first mortgage loans for branch offices and outside referrals, driving mortgage loan sales and cross-selling goals. Sell CRA products and services to low-to-moderate-income individuals and areas, including nonprofits, while managing each loan from application through closing. Build and maintain CRA referral sources, run homebuyer-training seminars, coordinate escalations, and accurately manage pipeline and reporting. Ensures risk accountability and a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop CRA prospects and referral contacts (realtors, builders, and professional/personal contacts).
•Take and process applicant applications, including completing Fannie Mae Form 1003 and collecting documentation for loan packages.
•Use daily rates, credit reports, Loan Prospector responses, and transmit loans to LOMAS to support origination and closing.
•Manage the loan pipeline through closing and complete required management reports; provide timely updates to applicants and referral sources.
•Conduct homebuyer-training seminars and attend consumer lending meetings as required, while following escalation protocols and risk policies.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory (four-year college degree preferred).
•2+ years of CRA mortgage sales experience.
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines, plus residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•Must have an established book of local referral sources and existing mortgage sales of $700,000 per month+.
