Job Summary

Design, develop, debug, and verify firmware, software, and/or hardware across AMD rack levels, covering pre-chip and post-chip phases. Partner with firmware engineers, developers, and architects from multiple function teams (e.g., AGESA/GPU/Core) to implement BIOS/firmware solutions. Provide consultation to internal and external customers on AMD features and programming requirements, while contributing day-to-day to firmware development in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, debug, verify, and/or validate firmware, software, and/or hardware.
•Participate in day-to-day firmware development work.
•Collaborate with firmware engineers, developers, and architects across function teams to design and implement firmware across AMD rack levels.
•Cover pre-chip and post-chip phases during firmware development.
•Provide consultation to internal and external customers regarding AMD features and programming requirements.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of BIOS experience.
•Familiarity with x86 architecture.
•Strong experience with AMI or EDK2 firmware architecture.
•Strong experience with RAS.
•Bachelors or Masters degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
