Key Responsibilities

•Lead, manage and develop a team of civil drafters across multiple Victorian projects.
•Oversee the preparation, coordination and issue of complex drawing packages, ensuring quality and consistency across outputs.
•Act as the technical authority for drafting, setting and maintaining standards, QA processes and best practice procedures.
•Plan and allocate resources to meet project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
•Provide senior-level technical guidance and conduct detailed reviews of drawings and models.

Key Requirements

•Significant Civil Drafter experience, operating at Principal Technician or equivalent level, usually 10+ years in a large consultancy environment.
•Proven leadership experience managing drafting teams within a project delivery environment.
•Formal qualifications in civil drafting or equivalent.
•Strong experience across civil infrastructure projects in Victoria, with deep understanding of Victorian standards (DoT, MTM, LXRP, SRL, etc).
•Advanced proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD and ProjectWise.
