Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, manage and develop a team of civil drafters across multiple Victorian projects.
  • •Oversee the preparation, coordination and issue of complex drawing packages, ensuring quality and consistency across outputs.
  • •Act as the technical authority for drafting, setting and maintaining standards, QA processes and best practice procedures.
  • •Plan and allocate resources to meet project timelines, budgets and deliverables.
  • •Provide senior-level technical guidance and conduct detailed reviews of drawings and models.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant Civil Drafter experience, operating at Principal Technician or equivalent level, usually 10+ years in a large consultancy environment.
  • •Proven leadership experience managing drafting teams within a project delivery environment.
  • •Formal qualifications in civil drafting or equivalent.
  • •Strong experience across civil infrastructure projects in Victoria, with deep understanding of Victorian standards (DoT, MTM, LXRP, SRL, etc).
  • •Advanced proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD and ProjectWise.
