Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers; provide make-vs-buy inputs for outsourcing decisions.
  • •Coordinate product development process deliverables with team members (buyers, planners, production control).
  • •Support creation, release, and updates of new project materials strategy.
  • •Participate in commercialization (transition) materials planning and material change control processes; assist with supplier negotiations and supplier selection/assessment.
  • •Generate and publish KPIs, track total landed cost targets, and help resolve supplier quality issues for assigned product groups.
