Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete supplier RFQs and support obsolescence compliance and training activities.
  • •Prepare supplier profiles for management and support supplier meetings, presentations, quarterly business reviews, and capacity reviews.
  • •Perform part analytics to assign parts to the correct commodity family and conduct MRP and spend analytics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • •Perform buyer functions including creating, re-scheduling, and cancelling POs per MRP; call suppliers to obtain material status and expedite materials.
  • •Resolve accounts payable issues tied to PO invoice and receipt discrepancies and find alternate/emergency sources to meet delivery needs.
