Key Responsibilities

•Select suppliers for new components by understanding technical requirements and initiating procurement processes based on quality, cost, reliability, and capability.
•Drive negotiations to closure on pricing, non-recurring costs, development schedules, repair/overhaul agreements, tooling, and terms/conditions.
•Coordinate new product introduction work within cross-functional teams and act as the primary point of contact with suppliers for specifications, timelines, and expectations.
•Identify cost reduction opportunities through value engineering (design to cost) and design for manufacturing to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
•Assure delivery by managing supplier promise dates and status updates, supporting supplier capacity and health assessments, and ensuring producible products with zero non-conformance quality.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience in administration, supply chain, engineering, or a related field, or an advanced degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
•Strong business acumen to analyze cost structures, assess market dynamics, and understand finance and strategy.
•Experience developing procurement strategies that optimize supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and support new product introductions aligned to organizational goals.
•Expert negotiation skills to secure favorable supplier terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
•Proficient data analysis to interpret supplier performance metrics and make data-driven procurement decisions.
