Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute monthly accounting close, ensuring integrity, compliance, and preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • •Prepare COSIF-standard reports and analyses in line with regulatory requirements.
  • •Perform account reconciliations, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
  • •Support internal and external audits and provide technical support and guidance to the team.
  • •Contribute to improvements in accounting processes and internal controls; analyze regulatory risks and Central Bank operational limits.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of accounting (Brazilian CPA – CRC Active).
  • •Knowledge of Central Bank of Brazil legislation (COSIF, Resolutions, Normative Instructions, Circulation letters).
  • •Knowledge of local accounting rules (CPC) and international accounting rules (IFRS).
  • •Proven experience leading an accounting team, including people development and defining closing routines and deadlines.
  • •Advanced English speaking level (master’s is a differential).
