Key Responsibilities

•Deliver library information literacy sessions so students can find and use required resources independently.
•Select, order, and distribute curriculum-aligned resources; catalog and label/cover books in Destiny Follett using the Dewey system.
•Maintain up-to-date library records for students and teachers, and manage check-in/out and reshelving of returned books.
•Follow up overdue items, receive payments for lost/damaged books, repair damaged books, and keep the library environment attractive and functional.
•Promote reading through displays and programs such as Book Club, author visits, and book fairs, while complying with health and safety policies.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in Library studies/information or a Bachelor of Library studies/information.
•1–2 years of experience as a Librarian.
•Fluent English communication skills (written and oral).
•Arabic speaker is preferable.
•Strong interpersonal skills for daily contact with parents in a diverse, multi-cultural environment and excellent office management skills.
