Backend Engineer, Ecommerce Recommendation Infrastructure (ByteDance Singapore)

Build and maintain high-performance backend services and scalable infrastructure for ecommerce recommendation systems. You’ll design and optimize reliable data pipelines for candidate/profile generation, training examples, and realtime online training, and develop globalized large-scale recommendation systems. The role also includes creating high-performance computing frameworks and storage systems, improving software testing/validation, and collaborating with applied machine learning and hardware engineers to integrate software with required performance specifications.
