Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure electrical installations are maintained and comply with proper standards.
  • •Formulate maintenance programs and procedures for electrical/electronics equipment and hospital utilities.
  • •Administer and supervise daily activities of electrical and electronics technicians performing assigned duties.
  • •Operate and maintain emergency power generation/supply systems, switchgears/power substations, motor control centers/panels, lighting and power distribution panels, UPS and battery banks.
  • •Oversee operations/maintenance of electronics and telecommunications systems (e.g., PABX/telephone, MATV, paging/nurse call, public address, fire alarm) and coordinate renovations/modifications with design and material estimates.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), preferably a licensed Electrical Engineer.
  • •5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering fields in a large hospital or health care facility.
  • •2+ years’ experience in a supervisory position.
  • •Fluency in verbal and written English.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations, plus well-versed as-built drawings and plan interpretation.
