Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead aircraft cabin modification projects from requirements definition through certification, installation, and entry into service, managing scope, schedule, risks, and execution.
  • •Act as the primary technical focal point, coordinating activities across engineering, maintenance, supply chain, marketing, suppliers, MROs, regulatory authorities, and other airline departments.
  • •Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and component engineering projects and pursue final dispositions based on assessed priorities.
  • •Prepare engineering documents for technical dispositions, including procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, and other maintenance actions aligned with objectives and directives.
  • •Coordinate technical activities with aircraft manufacturers, seat suppliers, IFE providers, cabin interior vendors, and modification organizations; provide engineering support during modification, testing, and entry into service.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in engineering in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Electrical discipline.
  • •6+ years engineering experience in commercial aviation, aircraft modifications, aircraft interiors, certification, systems integration, or a related field.
  • •Experience leading cross-functional technical projects and leading technical teams without direct authority.
  • •Strong technical writing and engineering documentation skills, including ability to read and generate installation drawings.
  • •Knowledge of 14 CFR Part 25 aircraft certification requirements and familiarity with aircraft interiors and regulatory requirements.
