Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain accurate, confidential employee files and HR records.
  • •Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations and company policies.
  • •Conduct facility safety inspections; manage PPE, first aid/CPR supplies, safety inventories, and safety program execution.
  • •Investigate accidents, injuries, and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • •Coordinate safety training (including new-hire orientation and forklift training), regulatory/fire inspections, safety committee activities, and return-to-work assignments.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum high school graduate.
  • •5+ years of work experience in Payroll and Human Resources administration.
  • •5+ years of work experience in Safety or Woodworking operations.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations, with successful completion of OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • •Proficiency with computer/business tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and ability to maintain confidential information.
