Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the Test & Evaluation group to understand users and products, focusing on hardware and supporting software components.
  • •Generate, review, and edit high-quality Test & Evaluation-focused documentation.
  • •Research highly technical subject matter and organize information from multiple sources into clear written materials.
  • •Contribute to the technical writing toolkit, including style guides and the documentation lifecycle and review process.
  • •Draft documentation artifacts such as checklists, procedures, operational and maintenance manuals, templates, user guides, release notes, troubleshooting guides, and API documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in English, communications, linguistics, or related field (may substitute equivalent technical experience).
  • •5+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation.
  • •Previous experience creating technical documentation in the Aerospace industry and/or DoD.
  • •Familiarity with military writing standards and verbiage (412TW-TIH-20-01).
  • •Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation and using tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, XML, and Visio.
