Key Responsibilities

  • •Own hands-on execution across the global AP process, including invoice processing, multi-entity/multi-currency transactions, VAT/GST handling, and complex invoice exception resolution.
  • •Support and improve global payment cycles to ensure payments are accurate, properly approved, secure, and on time; perform and improve AP subledger, payment, and supplier-account reconciliations.
  • •Map end-to-end AP and procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, diagnose root causes of manual work, and redesign workflows for scale.
  • •Own AP requirements, workflow design, and AP-side configuration across Zip, NetSuite, and connected systems, partnering with IT/Business Systems on integrations and issue resolution.
  • •Identify, test, and implement AI and automation opportunities to reduce manual invoice handling while maintaining accounting, tax, and payment controls; establish AP performance measures and documentation for global standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial hands-on international accounts payable experience, including VAT/GST, multi-entity and multi-currency AP, global payments, and AP reconciliations.
  • •A track record of improving AP systems and workflows end-to-end through process redesign, automation, or streamlining you owned.
  • •Systems fluency translating AP requirements into configurations and improvements, working with IT/Business Systems; NetSuite, Zip, or comparable ERP/P2P experience preferred.
  • •Practical experience using AI or automation to improve finance/operational workflows, including controls applied and measurable impact.
  • •Strong process-improvement and root-cause skills to fix broken processes in ambiguous, fast-scaling environments with clear cross-functional communication.
