Job Summary

Operate assigned plant equipment and areas to ensure safe, quality, and efficient production. Monitor process conditions and control systems, perform field checks and sampling, document Safe Work Permits, complete checklists, and execute housekeeping and Red Tag/Return to Operations activities. Troubleshoot process, product quality, safety, and environmental issues, participate in Root Cause Investigations, and support minor repairs and preventative maintenance while coaching and training others on operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures, and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
•Operate and field-check process equipment; monitor process conditions, equipment, and control systems.
•Perform assigned operations tasks per Master Task List (e.g., field checks, equipment preparation, samples).
•Use troubleshooting skills to resolve process, product quality, safety, and environmental problems and identify equipment requiring maintenance.
•Initiate and participate in Root Cause Investigations as required, and coach and train others on plant operations.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, plus one of: Associates degree in Process Technology, 3+ years relevant military experience, or 2+ years industrial manufacturing experience.
•Willing and able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
•Ability and willingness to respond to emergencies as a member of the Emergency Response Team with a three-year commitment.
•Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
•Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.
