Key Responsibilities

  • •Rig up and rig down cementing service equipment at work locations, including spotting cement storage vessels and pre-mixing spacer fluids.
  • •Perform or learn pre-job calculations for volumes, pressures, forces, blended cement, additives, spacers, and reverse pressure.
  • •Complete job-related documents, reports, and forms for the cementing service performed.
  • •Train and guide operator assistants on pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and associated paperwork.
  • •Train operator assistants in operating cement pumping/mixed equipment, blenders, additive metering systems, pumps, ADC systems, and cementing plug releasing tools.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • •At least 6 months of experience as an Operator Asst-Cementing, II.
  • •Class A CDL is required.
  • •Pass job-related tests or meet task guidelines.
  • •May require I-Learn courses such as General Hydraulics for Downhole Tools and Essential Preventative Maintenance.
