Job Summary

Operate and assist with asphalt plant production and maintain the plant by servicing and greasing parts, performing general maintenance and repairs, and keeping equipment and premises clean. Support production planning, load trucks with proper materials, manage inventory of plant parts and supplies, and fuel/oil/grease loader equipment. Work safely to avoid hazards, communicate issues to supervisors, and assist crews with labor and cleanup as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with asphalt production and plant maintenance by performing servicing/greasing, changing belts, and maintaining cleanliness.
•Direct general operations of loader operator, laborer, and scale operator to support production.
•Maintain inventory of plant parts, grease, asphalt oil, and other supplies.
•Load trucks with proper materials for delivery and check fuel, oil, grease, and loader parts to ensure equipment functions.
•Perform general maintenance and repair as assigned and assist crews with shoveling, clean-up, and general labor; communicate material/equipment issues to supervisors.

Key Requirements

•Must have a valid driver’s license.
•Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
•Safety minded; demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.

•Willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed, and apply critical thinking to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
