Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead NEC contract administration and project management processes to ensure compliance with NEC4 requirements and best practice.
  • •Act as Project Manager under NEC contracts, issuing instructions, managing early warnings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • •Lead and coordinate delivery with on-site Supervisors and Quantity Surveyors, using construction knowledge to verify work against the contract and works scope.
  • •Manage defects, early warnings, and compensation events, and ensure invoicing is completed in accordance with the contract.
  • •Produce project control reports and manage programme management, including commercial forecasting and cost control.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience in the Highways/Infrastructure sector with a strong background in NEC contract management.
  • •Experience managing NEC contract processes, including early warnings, compensation events, and programme updates.
  • •Knowledge of Construction Design Management (CDM) 2015 and associated duties.
  • •Financial and commercial awareness, with experience in project and resource management.
  • •NEC4 accreditation or qualification (highly desirable).
