Job Summary

Sr Estimator responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions and bid proposals on time, coordinating with sales, operations, and procurement to define solutions and prepare full costed proposals for Honeywell’s industrial automation offerings; leads estimation efforts, coordinates internal processes, and attends customer meetings to ensure compliant, timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze requests for quotation (RFQ) and technical drawings to define customer solutions and project approach.
•Collaborate with sales, operations, contracts, procurement, and other support teams to develop technical and commercial offers.
•Identify third-party content and coordinate with procurement to obtain external quotes and content.
•Define a proposal plan with resources, responsibilities, deliverables, and timelines for the estimating team.
•Estimate internal content (hardware, software, services) using internal tools and, for complex proposals, lead a team of estimators.
•Coordinate responses to ensure timely completion of proposals and support processes such as kick-off and proposal reviews.
•Prepare full proposal and costing for Honeywell hardware, software, services, and third-party content; ensure alignment with Honeywell standards.
•Coordinate booking packages and handover to operations when projects are won.
•Attend face-to-face meetings with customers to present proposals.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in engineering
•5+ years’ experience in estimating, selling or projects
•Fluent in written and spoken English
•Microsoft Office tools and other business level applications
•Experience with products and solutions within the industrial automation market
