Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and evolve the platform architecture for shared data platform services (ingestion, orchestration, transformation, metadata, observability) balancing scale, cost, and operational simplicity.
  • •Implement and own platform features including transformation frameworks, feature stores, real-time ingestion pipelines, lineage, and observability to power analytics and ML.
  • •Champion observability, governance, and data quality standards so datasets are trustworthy and measurable.
  • •Improve developer experience for data producers and consumers with tooling, templates, docs, and CI/CD for data assets.
  • •Mentor engineers through systems thinking, run design reviews, and partner with analytics, ML, and product to prioritize platform investments and make pragmatic tradeoffs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 221,000 - 286,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years designing, building, and scaling data systems across pipelines, warehouses, and analytical data products with measurable business impact.
  • •Proven technical leadership architecting and evolving complex data ecosystems, including ownership of data models and transformation frameworks across multiple data domains.
  • •Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for building production-grade data systems.
  • •Deep experience with modern data stacks, including cloud-native warehouses (BigQuery or Snowflake), orchestration (Airflow or equivalent), and transformation frameworks (dbt or similar).
  • •Strong system design and architecture mindset to reason about scalability, cost, performance tradeoffs, and long-term data strategy.
