Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyse on premises/ Azure transactional database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, COSMOS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra evaluate and plan migrations to Azure
  • •Develop/Enhance database PLSQL scripts/TSQL to migrate from source database to target database
  • •Identity workarounds for specific issues and corner scenarios observed during migration
  • •Develop test plan and testcases to demonstrate database readiness post migration
  • •Document detailed design and migration steps for continued migration from Dev to Prod.

Key Requirements

  • •15 years of experience in database design/development/migration on Azure
  • •Hands-on experience on Oracle, SQL Server, COSMOS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
  • •Experience migrating large databases (1TB) across multiple database engines
  • •Scripting languages (bash/perl/python)
  • •Masters or Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
