Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for commercial HVAC customers, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems on-site. Work with internal and external partners across new installs and retrofit projects, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, blueprints, and hand tools (plus technology/software) to diagnose and repair equipment. Coordinate with team leaders and customers, maintain safety standards, and be flexible for overtime/weekends and occasional overnight stays.

•Coordinate with a team leader/project manager and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
•Use cutting-edge software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Maintain safety standards and ensure security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 32.48 - 40.34 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, with typically 5+ years of HVAC experience.
•Technical School or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•EPA Certification required.
