Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and deploy end-to-end data architectures for customer engagements and production deployments.
  • •Guide and deliver architecture and design tasks; bootstrap or implement customer projects to enable adoption of Databricks solutions.
  • •Collaborate with engagement managers to scope professional services work with input from the customer and ensure timely delivery.
  • •Provide escalated support for customer operational issues and work with engineering and support teams to resolve issues.
  • •Coordinate with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect and Customer team to ensure all technical components meet customer needs and project outcomes.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics
  • •Comfortable writing code in either Python or Scala
  • •Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one
  • •Deep experience with distributed computing with Apache Sparkā„¢ and knowledge of Spark runtime internals
  • •Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
