Key Responsibilities

  • •Own transportation operations for LTL, FTL, intermodal, and rail shipments across multiple factories and warehouses.
  • •Foster and build relationships with asset-based, brokerage, and dedicated carriers to drive performance improvement.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with warehousing and other teams to understand network constraints and support bid/capacity planning decisions.
  • •Develop, analyze, and report Transportation Operations, Cost, and Service KPIs; perform ad hoc route analysis using relevant databases/systems.
  • •Drive continuous improvement by executing strategic efficiency projects, improving carrier compliance/on-time delivery, and leading carrier scorecard calls.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Finance, or a similar field.
  • •3-5 years’ experience in logistics, preferably transportation with carrier management, procurement, and railroad management.
  • •Adept in project management planning and execution.
  • •Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with multi-tasking experience.
  • •Proficiency with computer software applications; Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Project; preferred familiarity with SAP and Oracle OTM.
