Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform access control operations at TVA facilities.
  • •Conduct visitor processing and screening using X-ray machines and metal detectors (WTMD/HHMD).
  • •Carry out vehicular and foot patrols, traffic control/direction, and alarm monitoring and response.
  • •Safeguard keys; operate security and safety systems; monitor compliance and conduct oversight.
  • •Respond to incidents, including injury/illness and emergency situations; complete reports/records and provide testimony when required.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Meet at least one qualification: 3 years security experience (past 5 years), 3 years military/National Guard service, associate degree or higher in a security/law enforcement field, police officer basic training, or equivalent experience/education approved by the Contract Technical Supervisor (CTS).
  • •Fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write in English.
  • •Pass background screening, psychological evaluation, drug testing, and all required initial training.
  • •Meet all TVA suitability criteria prior to assignment.
  • •Maintain documentation for compliance with TVA Personnel Security requirements and USCIS eligibility regulations.
