Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership and manage engineering processes for executing the Rocky program, including design, integration, verification testing, and sustainment activities.
  • •Identify and resolve technical problems before they become crises by partnering with Integrated Product Team (IPT) technical lead engineers.
  • •Maintain consistent design and project direction by partnering with site leadership, program managers, capability directors, business chief engineers, and IPT leads; develop policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • •Assure technical baseline management and governance by chairing Engineering Review Boards (ERB) and managing Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) boards.
  • •Mentor engineers and IPT leaders and serve as senior technical interface to the customer and suppliers while implementing Technical Independent Reviews (TIRs) and Non-Advocate Reviews (NARs).

Key Requirements

  • •Active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required), with clearance active in the past 24 months considered active
  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (or non-US equivalent qualifications related to the work
  • •10+ years of experience in systems engineering, including system architecture development, systems integration, and/or hardware/software design and analysis
  • •Experience managing risk, issues, and opportunities with financial/business acumen to drive performance
  • •Willing and able to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally
