Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and resolve perimeter security incidents involving firewalls, policies, connectivity, and communication flows between sites and data centers.
  • •Administer and provide operational support for Check Point platforms, including analysis of rules, objects, NAT, logs, sessions, and traffic troubleshooting.
  • •Support firewall incidents and change requests for Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet FortiGate, collaborating on diagnosis and configuration updates.
  • •Coordinate with Networking to diagnose connectivity issues (routing, firewall, NAT, security policies, and external dependencies), and perform controlled firewall change management with impact analysis and post-validation.
  • •Act as a technical escalation point (N2/N3), support WAF/F5 scenarios, maintain end-to-end incident/change communication, and document runbooks and solutions to reduce operational risk.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in Network and Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Solid, demonstrable experience administering and troubleshooting Check Point security platforms.
  • •Advanced knowledge of firewall policies including rules, objects, NAT, traffic analysis, logs, and incident resolution for access and connectivity.
  • •Relevant experience working with Palo Alto Networks and operational knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate.
  • •Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, subnetting) and ability to diagnose complex incidents involving DNS, DHCP, proxy, WAF, and external services.
