Key Responsibilities

  • •Design mechanical assemblies and fixtures for PCBA and product-level test systems using professional CAD tools.
  • •Source materials and equipment by working with rapid fabrication teams or third-party suppliers.
  • •Integrate mechanical/electromechanical designs into Anduril’s PLM systems.
  • •Develop complex electromechanical and thermal solutions (e.g., heatsinks for RF systems) to support PCBA and harness designs.
  • •Design next-generation test systems and train technicians on equipment.
  • •Develop and apply surface-to-mate design expertise to supports, jigs, and clamps for shipping products.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •3+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience designing for test and/or manufacturing.
  • •Experience designing with sheet metal, 3D printing, and CNC machining.
  • •Experience with contract manufacturers, in-house fabrication, and prototyping workflows.
  • •Experience with PCBA test fixturing and electronics test equipment (e.g., load cells, strain gauges, multimeters), plus working knowledge of GD&T and PLM (Teamcenter or equivalent).
