Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Hatchery Supervisor and Hatchery Manager with daily departmental coordination and communication of maintenance priorities.
  • •Provide guidance and support to maintenance team members to complete work safely, efficiently, and correctly.
  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, facility systems, and company assets, including responding to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance according to PM schedules and maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance intervals.
  • •Maintain parts-room inventory and coordinate monthly maintenance budgets and maintenance supply usage based on operational needs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • •Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment.
  • •Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Preferred previous industrial maintenance experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and production equipment systems.
  • •Preferred leadership/lead experience plus experience with preventative maintenance programs, inventory management, and maintenance documentation systems.
