Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee sanctions screening, alert review, and investigations for correspondent banking, intermediary banking, and cross-border payments.
  • •Serve as the primary escalation point for complex sanctions alerts and potential sanctions matches, including enhanced reviews for higher-risk parties and transactions.
  • •Handle investigations involving SDNs, blocked persons, comprehensive/sectoral sanctions, high-risk jurisdictions, and sanctioned vessels/maritime activity.
  • •Monitor and identify indicators of sanctions evasion and circumvention; recommend control enhancements to detect evasion risks.
  • •Ensure compliance with OFAC regulations, U.S. economic sanctions programs, and internal sanctions policies; support audits, regulatory examinations, and remediation.

Salary: USD 90,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required.
  • •5–8 years of sanctions compliance, financial crime compliance, AML investigations, or payment screening experience.
  • •Strong experience reviewing sanctions alerts for correspondent banking and international payments, including work with OFAC regulations and sanctions investigations.
  • •Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience (preferred).
