Job Summary

Lead day-to-day quality and production performance in an inspection center by directly managing and developing hourly associates. Ensure cars are moved in and out safely for repairs, meet daily/weekly/monthly inventory goals, review and approve mechanical and physical defects, and train teams using quality control standards to complete repairs the first time. Partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on cost and overall vehicle quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the safe movement of cars into and out of the inspection center while meeting production and quality goals.
•Oversee daily activities of the assigned team by assessing strengths/weaknesses and identifying improvement opportunities.
•Engage the team with coaching, development, and performance management; provide feedback aligned to Carvana values.
•Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; train associates using quality control standards to complete repairs first time.
•Lead production associates and partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated repair cost and/or overall vehicle quality.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED equivalent.
•Experience using computers.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process.
