Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and operate the central GitHub repository platform for ABS Germany Web/Client.
  • •Provide tooling and standardized processes for the software development and release lifecycle, enabling daily CI builds.
  • •Implement, maintain, and operate the build pipeline, including documentation of target and actual processes.
  • •Conduct impact and technical analyses for requirements across the repository landscape (architecture, performance, reusability, security).
  • •Support CI/CD operations through code reviews, code quality standards, monitoring/alerting improvements, and CPI change/problem/incident management.

Key Requirements

  • •University graduate degree (mandatory).
  • •5+ years of software development experience, with a degree or proven experience.
  • •Expertise in Java and build/release tooling including Maven/Tycho, Jenkins, Groovy, and GitHub (incl. GitHub Actions / GIT Runner).
  • •Experience administering large-scale GitHub or source control platforms and CI/CD projects for large software development efforts.
  • •Deep understanding of Java packaging and Java OSGi/ABS development lifecycle in Germany.
