Key Responsibilities

  • •Audit and elevate current data pipelines and streaming architectures, establishing monitoring, reliability, and scaling best practices across the data ecosystem.
  • •Productionize PoCs into scalable Airflow/dbt workflows to lay the groundwork for Customer Data Platform (CDP) datasets.
  • •Define boundaries and standards for data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation, applying an analytics engineering mindset via dbt.
  • •Own and bring MarTech infrastructure in-house by working on end-to-end solutions (e.g., Braze, HighTouch reverse ETL) instead of isolated data plumbing.
  • •Scope ambiguous technical problems, propose architectural designs, execute the roadmap, and coach/mentor engineers through reviews and guidance.

Salary: GBP 87,500 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Advanced proficiency in Python and proven experience architecting, deploying, and maintaining Big Data and streaming/batch pipelines (e.g., Kafka Streams/Event Streaming, Trino, Iceberg).
  • •Hands-on experience using dbt for scalable data transformations and Airflow for workflow orchestration.
  • •Strong background in designing scalable, fault-tolerant data architectures, implementing data quality frameworks, and establishing production best practices.
  • •Ability to take a vague problem statement, independently uncover requirements, scope milestones, and drive solutions end-to-end.
  • •Excellent communication skills to bridge tech, marketing, and analytics and translate marketing needs into crisp engineering roadmaps.
