Job Summary

Lead engineering teams responsible for Allianz’s core platform, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and MLOps capabilities that power the data, analytics, and AI ecosystem. Drive scalable platform “golden paths,” improving reliability, security/DevSecOps, observability, operational excellence, and developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and develop platform engineering teams across Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, MLOps, Security Engineering, and Infrastructure Engineering.
•Drive hiring, onboarding, performance management, career development, talent retention, and succession planning.
•Partner with technical leaders to enable a scalable engineering platform covering cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, GitOps, and MLOps capabilities.
•Oversee platform reliability, observability, incident readiness, infrastructure automation, and operational processes.
•Collaborate across engineering and business functions to align priorities and translate platform reliability/operational insights into business outcomes.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years in an engineering leadership or people management role.
•Proven experience leading Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering teams.
•Experience managing multiple teams or engineering functions within a complex technology organization.
•Strong background in performance management, career development, workforce planning, and organizational scaling.
•Technical credibility across modern infrastructure and platform practices, including Kubernetes and cloud-native engineering.
