Key Responsibilities

  • •Define, design, and build the end-to-end core architecture across the control plane and data plane services for a self-contained infrastructure platform.
  • •Architect extensible platform APIs, including data modeling, versioning, and long-term backward compatibility for REST/gRPC integrations.
  • •Design comprehensive observability (metrics, logs, traces) for the platform and the provisioned Airflow instances.
  • •Architect for varied isolation levels, supporting deployments from connected private clouds to air-gapped, zero-egress environments.
  • •Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers through design reviews, high-leverage code contributions, and career mentorship.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of professional software engineering experience at a Staff, Senior Staff, or Principal level in enterprise infrastructure, DBaaS, or private cloud.
  • •Proven experience productizing infrastructure control planes and designing APIs for programmatic customer workflows and UIs.
  • •Hands-on observability experience building infrastructure telemetry stacks such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana in isolated environments.
  • •Strong Kubernetes foundation, including building Kubernetes Operators (CRDs), managing Helm deployments, and using the Kubernetes API to orchestrate lifecycles.
  • •Expert-level coding and systems design (Go, Python, TypeScript) with knowledge of distributed state stores, concurrency, and network security patterns.
