Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design of structures from inception to completion.
  • •Undertake assessment of existing structures, including on-site inspection and analysis across project stages.
  • •Use industry-leading computer software to support structural design, bridge assessment, and finite elements analysis.
  • •Support structural inspections, structural renewal feasibility studies, and schemes of structures.
  • •Participate in on-site works supervision and scheme management.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • •Demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and developing a career in this industry.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
