Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, continually improve, and document robust solar module manufacturing processes to maximize performance and reduce cost.
  • •Perform in-depth investigations into manufacturing/process issues and define corrective/preventive actions.
  • •Evaluate new equipment proposals against process standards and review process experiment proposals and results.
  • •Initiate and lead complex equipment/process changes using the CMS stage-gate process and coordinate global replication.
  • •Lead local task forces and project teams; directly and indirectly manage technical staff up to and including senior engineer level.

Salary: USD 112,300 - 160,000

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors/Masters/PhD in an engineering discipline or physical science field (or equivalent).
  • •8+ years of process engineering and/or R&D experience in a manufacturing environment, with broad engineering/technology background.
  • •Fluent with statistical analysis methods and structured problem solving; able to analyze large datasets using JMP or Minitab.
  • •Experience in photovoltaic manufacturing flow or technology development, including areas such as thin film vacuum deposition, glass therm-mechanical processing, module packaging, and structural development.
  • •Demonstrated leadership of small technical teams, including goal setting and performance management.
