Key Responsibilities

  • •Transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites in a safe manner and make normal operating adjustments.
  • •Comply with Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
  • •Operate the truck safely on highways, roads, in the yard area, and at job sites; maneuver for concrete delivery.
  • •Inspect the truck each workday, complete the Driver Check-off Sheet, and keep the truck clean with basic maintenance and post-load spraying/cleaning.
  • •Review load consistency and amount, inspect the drum for cleanliness, adjust trailer axle pressure, and follow written/verbal instructions including maps and paperwork.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required.
  • •Must possess and maintain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
