Job Summary

Build customer relationships through a consultative sales approach, using Financial Needs Assessment to identify current and future needs. Recommend retail consumer and small business products, proactively reach out with approved marketing tools, and cross-sell to deepen existing relationships. Coordinate with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) and support loans from application through closing. Participate in onboarding rotations and follow risk, ethics, and compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to reach out and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities, including presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Establish relationships with assigned business partners and refer customers to deliver holistic financial solutions.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program leading to certification in the Retail Personal Banker job family.
•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
