Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce facility designs and layouts for structural, mechanical, controls, and electrical equipment systems.
  • •Apply relevant construction and equipment codes (NEC, IEC, ASME, AISC, AWS, OSHA, NFPA, local codes, MCBU standards, and Chevron Engineering Standards).
  • •Perform design tasks for purchasing and construction-level drawings and develop working drawings from specifications and detailed drawings.
  • •Create precise CAD models and drawings, including assemblies, exploded view diagrams, plans/layouts, calculations, and bills of material.
  • •Conduct design reviews and travel to client job sites as required, including site visits/surveys and providing inputs to site visit reports.

Salary: USD 40 - 70 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •2-7 years of related engineering design experience in electrical and instrumentation design, including field experience.
  • •Typically 2+ years of relevant design experience in oil and gas, industrial construction, or power generation industries.
  • •Be able to produce purchasing and construction-level drawings with limited supervision.
  • •Create reliable CAD models with precision, including assemblies, exploded view diagrams, and layouts with BOMs.
  • •Occasional overnight travel may be required for this position.
