Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely collect samples for testing and perform proper analysis and reporting/documentation of results.
  • •Set up, operate, and maintain nuclear density gauges for asphalt and soil compaction.
  • •Follow state DOT and governing agency job specifications and perform project test procedures within certification levels.
  • •Conduct sampling, testing, and reporting according to protocol, record results accurately, and promptly report non-compliant tests to supervision.
  • •Maintain daily test records/reports, perform asphalt coring operations as necessary, and keep the lab environment clean while following MSHA/OSHA regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •1–2 years prior QC experience preferred.

  • •Current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to back light trailers.
