Job Summary

Load and unload trailers using lift and clamp trucks, move rolls and pallets throughout the facility, and ensure materials are properly strapped and secured for transport. Read work orders, support press operation setup, maintain baler room support, and keep work areas safe, clean, and compliant with OHSE and hazardous waste handling procedures. Follow PPE and uniform requirements while using safety lifting equipment and performing requested tasks.

Key Responsibilities

•Read work orders and/or follow oral instructions to move materials or containers.
•Safely load and unload trailers and move rolls, pallets, and other materials throughout the facility.
•Ensure correct product/material loading on pallets and properly strap, brace, or pad loads to prevent shifting or damage.
•Support press operation by setting up rolls and maintain baler room support.
•Maintain OHSE compliance, use required PPE, follow hazardous materials/waste handling and disposal procedures, and keep work areas safe and neat.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or GED) and one to three years of related production experience and/or training.
•Very good mechanical and physical ability.
•Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of all company equipment.
•Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, stooping, bending, reaching, balancing, climbing, and kneeling.
•Ability to rotate shifts and be available to work more than 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary.
