Key Responsibilities

•Visit customer homes to collect measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data required for solar design.
•Assess roof conditions, electrical service panels, and property features using standardized tools and protocols.
•Climb ladders, walk rooftops, and conduct attic inspections as required; submit survey data using mobile field tools.
•Perform post-installation inspection visits to confirm systems match approved plans and meet workmanship, code, and safety standards.
•Collaborate with AHJ, customers, install teams, and project managers to resolve inspection readiness issues and schedule inspections; maintain tools and safety equipment.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Valid state-recognized Electrical Certification at the Journeyman, Wireman, or higher level, in good standing.
•Previous PV design/installation/electrical experience is helpful, including reading plans/blueprints and basic electrical theory knowledge; at least one year of field construction experience is preferred.
•Comfort working on roofs with ladders and in tight or elevated spaces.
•Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, and mobile technology; OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
