Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I after a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and sales/service, including an end-of-program certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive appointment-setting through CAMP and approved marketing tools. Cross-sell, support referrals with mortgage and business partners, and help meet customer experience and production goals while processing teller transactions as part of platform staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend solutions aligned to the value proposition.
•Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Focus on cross-selling to existing customers and participate in directed outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and onsite presentations.
•Establish relationships with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and refer customers as appropriate while processing teller transactions as platform staff.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
