Job Summary

Support Intel engineering teams in developing next-generation packaging technologies through hands-on lab work. Prepare and fabricate samples, run established experimental measurements, maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment, and help develop new metrology approaches. Build and modify custom fixtures and lab setups, accurately document test results, and contribute to technical documentation (SOPs and work instructions) in a dynamic R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and fabricate samples using a variety of lab tools and techniques including soldering and epoxy bonding.
•Conduct experimental measurements using established methods and assist in developing new measurement approaches.
•Support engineers by building and modifying custom fixtures, tools, and lab setups for prototype and development work.
•Record, organize, and document test results, observations, and experimental conditions.
•Perform preventive maintenance, calibration support, and basic troubleshooting on assigned lab equipment while maintaining a clean and safe lab environment.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree in a technical discipline with 2+ years of experience in the semiconductor technical workforce, or 5+ years in lieu of the degree.
•Experience with standard laboratory tools such as optical microscopes, thermocouples, multimeters, polishers, and table-top saws.
•Experience operating, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting lab or manufacturing equipment.
•Proficiency with Windows-based computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Ability to perform documentation of test results and support development of measurement approaches and technical documentation.
