Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare IFC drawings, schedules, datasheets, schematics, and P&ID documentation.
  • •Carry out heat load calculations and detailed design work, including drawings and calculations.
  • •Develop technical submittals for materials and equipment, aligned to specifications and tender conditions.
  • •Conduct regular design reviews and coordinate with other services (e.g., electrical, PHE).
  • •Take a senior role in project design work, disseminate information, mentor/coach junior members, and manage accurate weekly timesheets.

Key Requirements

  • •Membership to an accredited engineering body such as MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, or ASHRAE.
  • •Excellent working knowledge of ISHRAE and ASHRAE, with good working knowledge of relevant ME codes.
  • •Ability to prepare heat load calculations and carry out detailed design, calculations, and drawings.
  • •Proficiency with technical software such as AutoCAD and Hevacomp, plus familiarity with MEP/drafting tools.
  • •Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and deliver design reviews and technical submittals.
